05/02/03: Scott Semple and Sean Isaac win Mugs Stump Award.
Scott Semple and Sean Isaac of Canmore, Alberta were one of five winners of this years Mugs Stump Award for their proposed April expedition to the Bugaboos to attempt a new ice and mixed route on the 1000m west face of North Howser Tower. The Mugs Stump Award is dedicated to the memory of Terrance "Mugs" Stump, one of Americas greatest alpine visionaries. It is sponsored by Mountain Gear, Black Diamond Equipment Ltd., Patagonia Inc., Rock and Ice Magazine, Clif Bar Inc. and W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc.
